Femme
The downside of being very femme is that 99% of gay girls, or the world at large, for that matter, don’t know you’re gay.
This means that once it’s clear that you are single and available…you will only gain attention from men, and 99% of lesbians will steer clear of you.
There’s also this issue of growing up closeted and “as a straight girl.” There are times when I seriously feel like a gay girl programmed to interact in the straight dating world. I don’t know how to approach a girl or how to make it clear to people that I’m gay without drastically changing the way I look/act…not something I really want to do.
I feel like if I never approach someone I’ll be single forever, because I just so happen to fly under the gaydar.
I have no clue how to do this.
